  6. Requires System 7 or better

  8. Drag a PICT or TEXT file to PICT/TEXTtoClip and it will be placed on the clipboard.

  10. Useful when programs support pasting of pictures or text but don't have an import option.  Also a quick way to put pictures or text in the scrapbook.  Simply drag the PICT or TEXT file to PICT/TEXTtoClip and then open the scrapbook and paste.

  12. In an ideal world, PICT/TEXTtoClip wouldn't be necessary because all good programs would directly support the Macintosh Drag & Drop extension...

  14. This utility is meant to replace PICTtoClip, a recent submission of mine.

  16. Technical Information:

  18. PICT/TEXTtoClip's "size" is set to 128k but should work with any size PICT files because temp memory is utilized.

  20. Recognizes styled text in SimpleText documents, both 'TEXT' and 'ttro' read only formats.
